floral street – the perfumes

Covent Garden is known worldwide – the area today breathes creativity for designers, artists and performers, The Royal Opera House stages world class Ballet and Opera and the area continues to be a breeding ground for new ideas. The history surrounding this part of London is like no other and doubtless the vibrancy of today will be the history of tomorrow.

The unique melting pot of British culture and style is pure theatre as seen on the streets of Covent Garden and has become the inspiration for cities everywhere.

It feels that nothing is beyond the realms of imagination and to discover or uncover is always a surprising treat.

The area was well known for centuries for its flower market and of course where Professor Higgins famously met Eliza Doolittle, the flower seller. Today flowers still remain a significant part of Covent Garden .

Very recently I discovered the perfumery, Floral Street, a collection of contemporary fragrances powered by flowers.

These are no ordinary florals, Michelle Feeney, the founder of this company has poured 30 years experience of working with cult beauty brands into creating a dynamic fragrance collection bringing scent connoisseurship to a wide and curious audience.

The collection of 8 perfumes represents a modern way to emphasize the beauty of flowers, the collection is vibrant, energetic and feminine.

Jériôme Epinette, one of the finest perfumers in the industry has created each scent using prized raw materials, he lets each one tell it’s own story but all are fused with the dynamic energy of London.

The Fragrances –

Neon Rose, the showpiece in the collection, these buds were cooked up in the lab for extra punch, the surprise of the collection

Floral Street also have a striking collection of candles and diffusers beautifully created with the same vibrancy and ethos as the fragrances to bring an air of floral to living spaces.

I loved my visit to the Floral Street Perfumery, the shop is beautifully designed, the colours completely uplifting and the art and theatre of the fragrances will surprise from start to finish.  Floral Street, 30 King Street, London WC2E 8JD
